Designed in 2008 by Helen and Hard Architects, this Geo Park in Stavanger, Norway, is intended to highlight Stavanger’s offshore industry and by reuse of items from the trade in this playful urban space on Stavanger’s shorefront, the architects have enlivened an otherwise abandoned site with some serious street cred. We love how kids take ownership of it by layers of tagging and graffitiing and giving it a non precious feel in an otherwise quite conservative city.
